The Playhouse we are giving away is a 7' x 7' TGB Wilton Lodge worth over £1000 and we will even arrange for Cherries legend Steve Fletcher to be present in the garden of the lucky winner when we deliver and erect their super prize ! T&C's apply.

The competition ends Sunday 15th May. Good luck and don't forget to like our page when you leave your guess otherwise your entry will not be counted.

Christchurch Show Site New Buildings

Christchurch Show Site New Building

We have added two contemporary style garden buildings to our showsite in Christchurch.

We have just erected a stunning Wentworth Garden Room with beautiful vertical cedar cladding and grey aluminium double glazed windows and doors. Wentworth Garden Rooms are fully lined and insulated throughout as standard and make great all year round rooms in the garden.

The second building is a bespoke Lugarde Prima Summerhouse. This building features a 3.6m wide glass sliding wall. This means even when closed the glass wall allows you to make the most of the view out into your garden with a truly uninterrupted view.

Come and see for yourself these two fantastic additions to our showsite at Stewarts Garden Centre in Christchurch. We have over 70 buildings on display and we are open 7 days a week. Or call us on 01425 274000 for a free colour brochure.

RNLI Raft Race Champions 2017

RNLI Raft Race Champions 2017

Every year Mudeford RNLI put on a family fun day to raise vital funds and awareness of the great job they do. Displays by the rnli, dance displays, stalls and a fun fair are just some of the exciting things to see and do.  This year’s event drew around 10,000 people to Mudeford Quay on a sunny but blustery day in August.

The main event though (in our opinion) is the charity raft race.  Local companies, clubs and groups are encouraged to enter.  This year 16 rafts were entered, Broomhill being one of them.  Over two 2 heats the rafts were whittled down to just six for the final.

Broomhill had won the first heat by quite a margin so the pressure was on to win the final.  This they did in some style with Christchurch Fire and rescue coming in second but promptly sinking!

Thoughts are already of defending the title next year.
